Rich Salvestrin, Vice President & C.O.O.

Rich brings many years of agricultural experience to CGN. In addition to being a nurseryman, he is an experienced vineyard manager and grape grower! Rich earned his B.S. in Viticulture from CSU Fresno. He has the challenge of overseeing the daily operation of CGN. Rich is also the acting President of the Napa County Farm Bureau, which keeps him very involved in local issues affecting agriculture and our community. His broad agricultural background allows him to anticipate and understand our customers' needs. Rich's constant involvement in the industry helps keep him current on all of the latest technologies. In his spare time, you will find him at his family-owned vineyard and winery in St. Helena!

Terri Scheumann, Controller

Terri has been with CGN for close to 6 years. She puts her extensive knowledge and experience in the field of finance to use in both the daily operations of CGN and in planning the long-term goals of the company. Terri stays behind the scenes at CGN, maintaining an efficient, structured operation with an atmosphere that is pleasant for everyone and often times fun! With all the responsibilities involved in managing the administration of CGN, you won't often see Terri when you stop by the office--needless to say, she is very busy.

Scarlett Johnson, Assistant Controller

Over the past 5 years, Scarlett has been involved in nearly every aspect of the nursery. She began her career with CGN as an administrative assistant. Soon thereafter, she took on a new major responsibility--inventory supervisor. Many of our customers had the pleasure of meeting Scarlett during that time. Though she really enjoyed working with the plants and the customers, she quickly expanded her knowledge of the business and soon moved into her current position as CGN's Assistant Controller. Who knows what Scarlett's next advancement may be!

Jami Dye, Inventory Supervisor

Meet Jami Dye! She comes to CGN from Alaska. Jami has made the transition to the California lifestyle effortlessly and has gained an appreciation for and understanding of our industry. Jami started as a receptionist for CGN and later agreed to take on the challenge of managing the entire inventory--from cuttings all the way through to shipping the final product to the customer. Jami's friendly voice is likely the one you'll hear when you first call CGN. As a customer, you'll have the opportunity to meet the smile on the other end of the phone when visiting the office to pick up your vines.

Christine Palmberg, Sales & Marketing

Christine works directly with our customers. She has a B.S. in Agribusiness from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, with additional courses in Marketing. Her concern for customer satisfaction does not stop after the plants are sold; she believes that a sale is only the first step in helping our customers reach their planting goals. As a result, she helped CGN develop many long-lasting customer relationships. Christine is also CGN's sales representative at trade shows and various other special events. Her involvement in many associations keep her informed of current trends in the industry, allowing CGN to better serve our customers. Christine is constantly coming up with creative new advertising ideas to invite you to contact us. Stop by our company booth at the next trade show and say hello!

Bulfrano Hernandez, Jr., Warehouse/Shipping Supervisor

Bulfrano has been with CGN for more than 10 years. He works closely with Jami on inventory assuring the accuracy of counts and the care of the cuttings made during the season. Bulfrano is responsible for maintenance, organization and security of our St. Helena facility. He also prepares customer orders for pick-up or delivery during the shipping season. If you stop by our office to pick-up your vines, it is likely you'll meet Bulfrano and remember his courteous, helpful nature.

David Martin, Field Supervisor/Increase Block Foreman

David's 10 years of service is the model of consistency and dedication that we strive for at CGN. David nurtures the increase blocks all year long until it is time to harvest the cuttings. At that point he supervises the cutting-making process to ensure that we have top quality material to work with throughout the propagation process.

Fernando Caldas, Production Manager

Fernando brings extensive nursery experience to CGN. He has the responsibility of overseeing all aspects of the outdoor nursery in Livingston from grafting to planting and pampering the vines through to pulling them in preperation for delivery. His technical expertise in tracking the needs of the plants provides our customers some of the best plants in the industry. Fernando earned his B.S. Degree in Agricultural Science from Colorado State University and has an extensive background in agriculture, ranging from irrigation specialization to vineyard management.
